The Rachel and Jim Hodges Fund and the Folks Center for International Business are sponsoring a talk by Dr. Mark Mizruchi, with co-sponsorship from the Rule of Law Collaborative and the Walker Institute. Dr. Mizruchi–the Robert Cooley Angell Collegiate Professor of Sociology, Barger Family Professor of Organizational Studies, and Professor of Management and Organizations at the University of Michigan–will give a talk based on his award-winning book, which analyzes how American corporations institutionalized a system of broader collaboration with different parts of society, and how it disintegrated in the 1980s and 90s, leading to the current state of affairs in the United States, in its business strategies, competitiveness profiles, and socio-political fragmentation.

There is no fee to attend, but registration is required.
