Anna Anderson joined the Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) in January 2021 as Research Assistant. She is a senior and a McNair Scholar at the University of South Carolina Honors College. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, she has enriched her time at the University of South Carolina with study abroad in both Daugavpils, Latvia and Santiago, Chile. In Chile, she worked as a Philanthropies Intern at Microsoft, where she had the opportunity to use Spanish as a primary language in the workplace in order to coordinate with local non-profit organizations targeted at assisting vulnerable populations. Throughout her time at the University of South Carolina, she has pursued studies in topics such as human rights, global governance, and the role of civil society. She is currently pursuing her B.A. with a triple major in International Studies, Russian, and Spanish, and she hopes to use her research and foreign language skills in an international setting following graduation.
