Jose “Chris” Ocampo joined the Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) in May 2020 as Research Assistant. His career and personal interests in international affairs continue to guide his educational and professional decisions as he pursues his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. His interests include monitoring global affairs and studying the history and cultural trends of Latin America. He is an active volunteer in the Law School’s Pro Bono program, where he provides translation services for legal documents and a volunteer interpreter of the law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic. He is also a member of the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. He holds a B.A. from Georgia Southern University with a double major in International Studies and Modern Languages and a minor in Religious Studies.
