The Center for Civil Rights History and Research at the University of South Carolina will host Dr. Jeanne Theoharis for a public lecture titled “Revisiting Rosa Parks in the Age of Black Lives Matter.” Dr. Theoharis is a Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Brooklyn College of CUNY and author of The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks and A More Beautiful and Terrible History: The Uses and Misuses of Civil Rights History. The event will be held on Monday, November 4^th at 6:00pm in the Russell House Ballroom.
