Rule of Law Collaborative staff recently participated in the second round of the 2019-2020 Rule of Law Certification Program—launched by Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and the Rule of Law Collaborative with support from the USAID New Justice Program—in Ukraine. The certification program allows twenty Ukrainian legal professionals to gain a complex understanding of rule of law and associated issues in Ukraine. After two training sessions, participants will complete a capstone project that applies conceptual understanding of the rule of law to real justice sector challenges in Ukraine. Upon successful completion of the training and capstone, each participant will be awarded a certificate from both Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and the Rule of Law Collaborative.
