The Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) is pleased to announce that it recently conducted its first online training—also the first online training for the JUSTRAC+ program—during the week of August 17. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ROLC focused on creating an innovative digital training format for State Department personnel working on rule of law and justice sector reform programs overseas and from Washington, DC. Training sessions consisted of a mix of synchronous and asynchronous activities that spanned a two-day period. New training methods, such as virtual breakout groups and self-paced electronic learning modules, gave training participants an opportunity to apply what they learned and receive feedback from ROLC’s subject matter experts.
