Integrating Perspectives on the Rule of Law

Research, training, and partnership for rule of law challenges worldwide.

Rule of Law Collaborative at USC

Founded in 2010 at the University of South Carolina, the Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) works with governments, civil society, and academic partners to strengthen legal systems and access to justice. Faculty and practitioners lead training, research, and field programs in areas such as anti-corruption, criminal justice reform, transitional justice, and people-centered justice. Recent work includes cooperative agreements with the U.S. Department of State, regional workshops in South Asia, and hands-on learning simulations for justice sector professionals. Read our new resource on scenario-based rule of law training to see how ROLC designs practical learning for partners.
