On April 16, 2024, USC Rule of Law Collaborative Deputy Executive Director Steven Austermiller met with a delegation of Kosovo legal and judicial leaders. The delegation included the President of the Kosovo Supreme Court, Fejzullah Rexhepi, the Chair of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Ardian Hajdaraj, the Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, and the Director of the Kosovo Justice Academy, Enver Fejzullahu. The meeting was held at the USC School of Law and included USC Law Dean William Hubbard and officials from the U.S. Department of Justice National Advocacy Center. The discussion centered around U.S. assistance to the Kosovo justice system as well as potential new areas of cooperation, such as anti-corruption, judicial training, and future reform efforts.
