On May 4, 2023, his Honorable Excellency Ambassador Batbayar Ulziidelger visited the University of South Carolina Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC). Ambassador Ulziidelger expressed great interest in collaborating with ROLC on justice sector strengthening and capacity building, and engaged in deep discussions with ROLC’s Deputy Executive Directors Karen Hall and Steve Austermiller, and ROLC’s Research Program Manager Atif Choudhury. ROLC shared information and photos from its simulations on illegal trafficking, and anti-corruption and money laundering simulations in Mongolia, which featured police investigators, prosecutors, and judges as participants. The simulations were conducted in partnership with The Asia Foundation, and was funded by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
