The University of South Carolina’s Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) is proud to announce it has been awarded the Justice Sector Training, Research and Coordination 3 Program (JUSTRAC 3). The award was issued by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. ROLC receives this award together with its partners, the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative, Glasshouse Initiatives, Inc., and BlueArrow, Inc.

Under this new award, ROLC will manage nearly $9M in support of two core goals. First, ROLC will work to improve the capacity of the U.S. Government’s interagency justice sector workforce, which promotes the rule of law in developing countries worldwide. Building on over a decade of serving staff from the Departments of State, Commerce, Treasury, and Justice, as well as USAID and the Federal Judiciary, ROLC and its partners will provide training, develop new tools, and support knowledge management. Second, ROLC and its partners will work to support the interagency Coordinator for Global Anti-Corruption efforts to develop a learning agenda and collect experiential learning to further the U.S. Strategy for Countering Corruption.
