On July 17-18, ROLC delivered its first SACRR Conference (South Asian Consortium for Regional Responsibility) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Research institutions representing five regional countries (Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka) attended the conference, which included over 25 experts in social science and business investment research. The conference provided an opportunity for the representatives to present their research on regional investment practices and trends. The participants also agreed to work together to share data and create an informal network to promote collaboration. This conference also provided an opportunity for participants to discuss their research and how it will be promoted in 2026 when it is completed. The event was hosted by the Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) in Kathmandu.
