USC-ROLC Deputy Executive Directors Steven Austermiller and Karen Hall met with a delegation of Botswana Parliament members on campus. The delegation included the Hon. Dithapelo L. Keorapetse, Speaker of the Botswana National Assembly, Dr. Gabriel G.G. Malebang, Clerk of the National Assembly, and Hon. Lesego Chombo, Minister of Youth and Gender Affairs, and ten other Members of Parliament. Botswana is embarking on possible legal and constitutional changes and the Parliament Members were interested in learning about USC-ROLC’s experiences with rule of law issues around the world. The parties agreed to continue the discussions.
