ROLC uses social network approaches, community-based model building, and focus groups to examine how community activists build effective networks to reform policing and to explicate the mechanisms necessary to build bridges between police and African Americans. This work will strengthen the capacity of communities to effect police reform by engaging diverse stakeholders to mitigate this epidemic of violence.
