South Asian Consortium for Regional Responsibility (India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, and Bangladesh)

Since September 2023, the Rule of Law Collaborative at the University of South Carolina, under the South Asian Consortium for Regional Responsibility, works with institutions in five South Asian countries to study international development practices by building a network of think tanks and research institutions across South Asia and collaborating on research and best practices. The partner research institutions are located in India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, and Bangladesh. ROLC collaborates with these institutions, provides research and other technical assistance, and sponsors regional conferences where the institutional network can discuss development issues common to all of the countries. The South Asian Consortium for Regional Responsibility is funded by the U.S. State Department and scheduled to last for two years.
